A Typical ForHealth Medical Centre
Consult room
- Typically 10-20 consult rooms per centre
- Each independent health practitioner has their own dedicated room, set up to their preference
- Typically high patient demand for appointments
Treatment room
- Treatment rooms are set up for a diverse range of clinical procedures – from iron infusions, to vaccinations, to wound care
- They are nurse-led, but all care is delivered in partnership with GPs
- They provide a great source of learning and education for our medical students and student nurses
- We are refurbishing and expanding treatment rooms across our network as part of our $50+ million investment over the next 12 months
Procedure room
- State-of-the-art procedure rooms are usually co-located with sub-specialty GP rooms for skin, women’s health and men’s health
- Equipped with specialist kit, and supported by a treatment room nurse
- GPs can perform complex procedures whilst protecting the privacy and dignity of their patients
Reception
- Reception teams are the engine room of each centre – they answer phone calls and greet 600 patients on a typical day
- Our google review scores are averaging 4 stars over the past 6 months, reflecting how important customer service is to us
- Behind reception is where you’ll also find our calendar (& cake) for staff work anniversaries – with many employees having celebrated 10+ years with us
Dental Centre
- Fully-accredited by QIP to the National Safety and Quality Health Service Standards
- Dentists typically see 8-16 patients per day
- Centres are mostly fitted with 2-5 modern Kavo dental units with intra-oral cameras and monitors, lab eq, rotary endo and surgical implant equipment, access to digital radiography/OPG and sterilisation room
- Dentists are supported by skilled dental assistants, dental coordinators and dental state managers
- The Clinical Advisor Committee comprising of senior dentists provide representation on behalf of clinicians in the network
